Playoff Game Schedule: All teams will get at least two playoff games. Make sure you check the entire schedule for your division by going to "Games" and selecting "Playoff" so that you can see all potential games. If you click on your team you will only see the first game and not the other games that are determined by outcome. When reviewing your standings for playoff games, note that the RAMP standings do not reflect the CMBA tie breaking procedures so may not display true standings in the event of a tie. Please review all tie breaking procedures before inquiring to your zone leadership with questions regarding standings.
Multi Game Days: You could play more than one game on March.4th, particularly in 7-Team divisions.
Overtime Rules: All overtime periods are 3 minutes long and are decided by the first team to score 4 points in overtime OR the leader after the period ends. If neither happens, another period will begin and it is sudden death (first to score wins) with no time on the clock. Fouls carry over but timeouts do not. Each team will be only allowed a one-minute timeout for the entire overtime period. Click here for the overtime rules document.
Respect For Officials: Playoffs are a long day for our officials. Please don't hesitate to share a kind word of encouragement or support as they are working hard to make sure we can provide a great basketball experience on an intense day for everyone.
Footwear in Gyms: CMBA does not permit anybody to wear outdoor shoes in our facilities. Please make sure you bring dry indoor footwear or remove your shoes in all of the gyms.
Medals: March.4th is when all medal round games are played. Many gyms will have representatives who will hand out medals, but some will not. If there is no representative there, medals will be at the score table for coaches to distribute.
